My Story
In July of 2013, I was introduced to Scentsy in an inbox message that I just could not get out of my head.
A very optimistic sounding lady had messaged a page I was an admin on, and was promising all kinds of things from work your own hours, free holidays, opportunity of a life time and I just could not believe that it was legit, but I kept getting drawn back into reading it and wondering if it were true!
Fast forward to August and I was totally keen after looking into whether the company even existed! My upline's team had organised training calls and online get togethers and taught me all about Scentsy and the products and I wanted in on this opportunity! September 2nd, 2013 Scentsy launched in Australia and I joined up right away eagerly awaiting my $152 starter kit!
When I signed up, my intentions were to earn a little extra income for my family, and have something for me to do while being a stay at home mum. As soon as I opened the first box of Scentsy on September 13th I was HOOKED and fell in love with all the scents and products!
I had my launch party the next day, and went from there. Over the next few months with a lot of work building the brand in a new market, talking friends in to giving it a go and sharing my passion with new people, my business grew. The biggest thing I have achieved with Scentsy so far is a new me. Literally I am a whole new person, one I never thought i could be. I am happier, more outgoing, have made a truck load of amazing friends, more confident and I now know what I want to aim for in my life and career. But it doesn't stop there!
I have discovered a new found love for travel that I never would have found or been able to afford with out Scentsy! Since joining I have been able to travel to Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Gold Coast, Hobart and more! I have earned the Breeze into Bali Incentive trip, the Roar into Singapore Incentive trip, both 5 days of all expensive paid luxury! I have earned a trip with 3 nights accommodation at the luxurious Sheraton Mirage Resort in Port Douglas, Queensland, and in 2018 an 8 day cruise around the Mediterranean from Barcelona Spain, through ports in Italy, France , and back! It was life changing!
A few weeks later I flew myself across to LA to go to Scentsy’s first global Scentsy Family Reunion (conference) where I had the opportunity to give a training presentation to up to 4,000 consultants, and Scentsy paid for us all to go to Disney Land!
In 2020 I earned an all expense paid cruise to Bermuda from New York, and my Scentsy besties had planned to spend a week in the big apple before hand and were planning the trip of a lifetime, but alas, Covid 19 meant that it wasn’t to be, but Scentsy generously made it up to us anyway!
Scentsy has given me and my family opportunities that I could have only dreamed of! I have been able to be a stay at home mum AND Full time in my Scentsy Business as a mentor to my incredible team of men and women across the globe, who I absolutely love and am inspired by.
You can be a consultant just to get your own discounts, to earn some extra money, or even as a full time job! It’s totally up to you. You make it what you want it!!
All this started with a decision to try something new!
